A trio of AdSense ads appeared on the Netherlands’ Google homepage Google.nl suggest that Apple may soon launch thinner iMacs, lighter MacBooks, cheaper Mac minis.
The inadvertent publication of the ad that led to dead links has created a buzz among Mac lovers across the world.
The online advertisements seem to have been wrongly published breaking an embargo and point to a dead link on an Apple Store web site.
They give such details of the new iMac as size (20 & 24 inch) and price ($1,063). The upcoming Mac mini will, according to the advertisements, be as cheaper as $723.
The ads in Dutch language, however, direct to a dead link on an Apple Store web site where the products are not, of course, available for purchase.
The AdSense ‘revelations’ substantiate the reports about upcoming Apple gadgets that AppleInsider has been publishing for several months. These reports have featured prospects of thinner iMacs, revamped MacBooks with thinner, stylish enclosures, and cheep Mac minis.
Meanwhile there are reports that Apple had informed its retail and wholesale outlets of the limitations of iMacs, MacBooks and Mac minis. Many retailers have sold out their stock of iMacs and Mac minis and expect to restock on 7th and 9th of this month. These reports also hint at the possibilities of the arrival of the newer Apple Mac gadgets.
